The University of Michigan Detroit Center was extremely pleased to host the 2nd Annual Opening Day Open House, Thursday, April 5, 2012 from 9:30am – 4:00pm. This event included complimentary admission, food, refreshments and parking to all attendees.

The Open House is an opportunity for the U-M and Detroit communities to partake in one of the city’s most cherished events, Opening Day of the Detroit Tigers. 

Throughout the morning, the U-M Detroit Center welcomes everyone to tour the facility and learn about the entertaining and educational activities that go on throughout the year; all while enjoying giveaways, trivia, games and networking with other baseball fans. Throughout the morning, guests may also enjoy a tailgate style spread of hot dogs, hamburgers, potato chips and pop.

All those who are unable to attend the game itself are invited to stay and watch the game at the U-M Detroit Center on the high-definition video projection system.
